Ithaca Seventh-day Adventist® School

Music

At the Ithaca SDA School the children have a chance to immerse themselves in music. They start to learn basic music reading skills, and apply it through their instruments. Hand chimes have been a big part of our school. All the students participate in the chimes choir. All students, first grade and up, learn ukulele. Singing is a big part of our music curriculum. We sing together during worships and for performances. The students are learning to sing in harmony. Not only do the students practice at school, but also perform at school functions. The students really enjoy all the musical opportunities our school offers. Despite the level of ability, all students can learn to enjoy music. We work with all ability levels, whether music comes naturally or not.
